About

"It's not like you haven't been here before. Anyway, this is my mental attic, where I keep my trash and once in a while trek up here. You are welcome, but try not to disturb things around. "

(Post dedicated to Jug Suraiya, my favourite Indian philosopher)

Hasina

Hasina. She wears a burkha. Coz, her abbajaan wants it that way. She has streaked hair. Her abbajaan doesn't know (she always has her head covered in his presence. Her abbajaan wants it that way). Of course, she has education, but Urdu-medium and had English as a subject in the final two years of schooling.

But when she sits with her boyfriend Sandesh, on the last seat of the BEST bus, arm in arm, even the driver of the bus knows what fun they had on their Lonavala weekend-trip. Abbajaan thinks she has gone with Shabana, which is partially true; they do travel together. But Shabana is 'with' Deepak.

Now, Hasina and Shabana went to the same Urdu medium school where they had English as a subject in the last two years of schooling; but aren't really friends. They need each other to go out with Sandesh and Deepak (respectively, (respectfully?)).

"See, my Fatherdear won't accept this 'chakkar' and I do not want to hurt him and Motherdear. Our society and our condition have given them enough troubles." So she has decided to have her fun, be 'with' Sandesh, who gives her a lot of love and imitation jewellery. In return, she is the perfect girlfriend that Sandesh could have. Sexy, submissive and NOT pestering him for marriage once he "gets permanent on his job." The best two years of his life (personally).

Hasina will be married to Abbas, from Rizvi College. She will have to pretend that she has not been 'with' anyone before. She and Sandesh have had this pillow-conversation in Lonavala. "Just enact how you actually felt the first time. It's a matter of the first few days (ahem!). He won't even come to know!"

She does just that. The first-timer confusion & anxiety on face when she is 'with' Abbas, from Rizvi College, could win her an Oscar. Abbas, from Rizvi College, smiles. Hasina smiles too, lekin mann mein.

She does not know that Abbas, from Rizvi College, has had the same pillow-conversation with Sandhya in Khandala.

    abbey gaurav,
According to your technical analysis, the BSE Sensex should have touched 11,000 in March-April!
    What happened to that? top

    Nice new look!
And Schazeb, I second that! Just how do you explain what happened, Gaurav? I actually lived under the illusion that I knew more than the rest of the market for 3 months... top

** Never give your advice for free.
**Especially, a financial advice to a friend.

If you have some time to spare go to Yahoo finance, take the BSE historical data.
You will find that BSE sensex lost around 2000 points between Feb and March. As far as i remember i suggested that possibly there will be a decline.

Currently sensex is around at the same level as it was in Feb. For 3- months investment one gains nothing but inflation. If fixed deposit were there atleast i would have got 3% in that period.

Still I would say i was wrong as i gave my advice without charging any fee.

Thanks for telling my story shahzeb... For me,it was never a question of the existence of the issue but the reasons for it..

why could'nt we go any where?

We call ourselves educated, liberated and broadminded individuals... but the image breaks down when we even look beyond the boundaries of caste let alone the walls of religion... As you would be reading this, -shabana, i want you to know that i love you very much and i always will. top
