"It's not like you haven't been here before. Anyway, this is my mental attic, where I keep my trash and once in a while trek up here. You are welcome, but try not to disturb things around. "

yeah
i know i have not been blogging for a while, coz the whole reason why i started the blog was thoda sa in my face, but now i don't want to deprive my massive fan following of what they want.
i was just thinking about Poverty. (Vibha's blog tends to do that to you!) and came up with so many arguments, and didnt know where to go with them.
and then it struck me how bloggers who run Google searches for ten minutes, get 40 comments posted to every post. they just throw their weight around and leave the post with a question like "Coke or Coconut water?", "Health or Globalisation?" and you know what, i am going to try that, i wanna see some random guy cruising on the "infomation highway" dump some of his thoughts on this Google webspace.
so if we stopped giving alms to beggars. Absolutely. what wud happen? would they be forced to find work? Would some of them die? In the medium run would it have solved the problem of poverty, instead of dragging it on and on. It reminds me of this video where i see this signboard on the highway, which read "Please dont give to the beggars. It causes traffic"

PS: i saw this blog which said "asymptotically, we would all be dead", and i thought it was too cool. if you don't, that's coz you have not seen IGIDR
